Emerging from Philadelphia, born on July 15, 1997, rising hip hop artist Rizz aka Trey Garrett is a refreshing sound in today’s industry.  Boasting a unique style with a speedy flow.

 

Rizz believes his role in the Hip Hop community is to prove to everyone that there is a still a way to stand out and be different. He hopes to elevate the entire game in the process.

 

Perfecting his stage skills, Rizz has performed in numerous events throughout the Tri State area.

A few highlights of his budding career would be;

 

1st place winner in the Uptown’s Youth Got Talent Show and received a 1 year contract to perform in the Philadelphia area

on the behalf of the Uptown.

 

Performer in the Fringe Festival, an event co sponsored by major media outlets Philly Magazine & That’s So Philly.

 

Performed with his former group Kryptic at CBS studio’s Downtown Philadelphia for the Uptown Theater’s Annual Awards Ceremony with TV personality Beasley Reece in 2014.

 

Also performed for numerous elected officials in the Philadelphia area during their campaigns with his message enforcing the need to vote.

 

When he’s not writing, performing or recording Rizz will attend the prestigious Howard University. In 2015 he graduated George Washington Carver High School of Engineering & Science with a 3.4 GPA.

 

Rizz’s career started just as a hobby and a chance to impress his peers. He wrote his first verse alongside his lifelong friend

and fellow artist: Mike Hall (Smoke).

He started writing simple freestyles to already established songs and gradually started to work on his own material and switched up his style.

 

Rizz has bigger plans in his future he wants his material to be heard all over the world with bigger venues and plans to promote his upcoming mixtapes.

He wants to grow his music group: DopeSoulz along with fellow artists Tez California, Don & N3ll.
